ACORN sponsored march through the French Quarter was organized in Andrea's Fairmount Hotel suite. The march took place in conjunction with a NOW conference. However there was a huge divide between the anti-pornography advocates and the pro-pornography ACLUers, whose attorneys testified against the ordinance and NOW was against the march taking place. Steve Jevning, a neighborhood organizer of support when the Minneapolis City Council was considering the ordinance, was arrested at the event.
